Ten plain-language definitions for reading a CareCanon record. These terms describe documents, schedules and price evidence; they do not provide personalized medical guidance.

Document identity
The primary document CareCanon used for the fact shown on a page. For dosing records, this is the named prescribing label linked on DailyMed.
It lets a reader move from a CareCanon transcription back to the document that governs the answer.See the source hierarchyThe stable identifier shown by DailyMed for a label set. CareCanon displays it so similarly named products and later versions are not silently mixed.
A brand name alone is not enough to identify the exact document behind a record.Browse identified recordsThe publication date attached to the source label displayed in the CareCanon record.
It describes the source document, not the date CareCanon first published its page.Compare record datesThe date CareCanon retrieved and structured the source document.
Publication and retrieval answer different questions. Showing both makes the age of the source and the age of the transcription inspectable.Read the mirroring methodA section of the prescribing information that names dated label sections changed by the manufacturer. CareCanon structures those printed entries into a public ledger.

Dose schedule
The first dose shown in the source label’s initiation or escalation instructions for the named indication and presentation.

Cost record
The lowest total CareCanon can reconstruct from every required public price component it found, such as testing, membership and medication.
