How we publish
Editorial policy
CareCanon separates source evidence, editorial explanation and commercial status so a paid relationship cannot rewrite a prescribing record.
Source hierarchy
For dosing, the controlling source is the current manufacturer prescribing document mirrored by DailyMed. For provider prices and terms, we prefer the provider’s own dated public copy and named public regulatory or accreditation records. Secondary commentary does not override a primary record.
What a record must show
- Named source and direct source route.
- Document identity or provider identity.
- Publication, retrieval or capture date.
- Whether a schedule was reproduced from a table or transcribed from prose.
- Unknown, stale or contradictory facts instead of guessed values.
Dosing safeguards
Derived schedules are tested against marketed strengths and non-titration switching tables are excluded. A build fails when a required staleness verdict or source invariant is missing. CareCanon does not add clinical judgment or personalized dosing direction.
Articles and automation
Automation may assist collection, extraction, testing and drafting. Publication must remain traceable to named evidence. We do not claim “medical review” unless a named, qualified reviewer has actually reviewed the specific version and the scope and date of that review are shown.
Commercial separation
Provider evidence can be published without a paid relationship. Affiliate configuration is stored separately from editorial facts. Payment does not determine source language, price math, inclusion, unresolved status or dosing content.
Corrections and updates
Send a correction with the page URL and supporting source to privacy@carecanon.com. We review cited records, correct substantiated errors and update the visible date or change history where appropriate. We do not silently manufacture a reviewer or erase a prior source version to create a cleaner story.
